EnduRacers – Signatech Alpine A460 LMP2 car model
The Enduracers modding team just announced a new partnership with the French Signatech Alpine Racing Team. They are now developing a virtual version of the new Alpine A460 LMP2 car for use in the Signatech Alpine simulator.
While working on their Endurance Series V1.0 update for rFactor 2, the Enduracers modding team has also developed a virtual version of the new Alpine A460 LMP2 car for use in the Signatech Alpine simulator. The modding team successfully delivered the virtual Alpine A460 LMP2 car model a few weeks before this year’s Le Mans 24 hours in order to let the Signatech drivers do some preparation work in the simulator.
Being die-hard Le Mans fans, the Enduracers were more than pleased to see the #36 Signatech Alpine A460 with Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes et Stephane Richelmi behind the wheel win the 2016 Le Mans 24 LMP2 class.
The included images show us a few renders of the Enduracers Signatech Alpine A460 model and some snapshots of the American racing driver Gustavo Menezes at work in the Signatech simulator.
The Enduracers informed us that for now, the Alpine A460 model is exclusively developed for the Signatech simulator and will not be released as part of the Endurance Series V1.0 build. The official V1.0 car list remains unchanged. However, the new Alpine A460 and the Oreca 05 LMP2 version of the same model will most likely be added to the rFactor 2 Endurance Series mod in one of next year’s updates.
