New Light and Weather System Coming to ETS2

SCS Software released a set of Euro Truck Simulator (ETS2) preview screenshots showing us some great-looking panoramas from Scandinavia featuring the upcoming lighting improvements.

The development teams is updating several in-game graphic rendering elements such as the fog/haze calculation system, improvements to the HDR tone-mapping calculations, sun shafts (God Rays) and Shaders and texture updates with corrected specular and diffuse lighting to suit the new system.

The visual changes will be part of a free game update available for all Euro Truck Simulator 2 owners.
