F1 2020 – A lap At The Austrian Red Bull Ring
With this weekend’s 2020 Austrian Grand Prix in mind, Codemasters posted a new F1 2020 preview video showcasing a lap at the Red Bull Ring in the Renault of Esteban Ocon.
Born as the Österreichring and host of the Austrian Formula One Austrian Grand Prix for 18 years the track was rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring and was used in that configuration from 1997 to 2003.
After being left to its own devices, the track was purchased by Red Bull’s Dietrich Mateschitz who had the track completely rebuilt. The Red Bull Ring was born. The 4.318 km (2.683 mi) track reopened in 2011 where it hosted a round of the DTM season and a round of the 2011 F2 championship. Formula One returned to the circuit in the 2014 season.
Besides new features such as My Team, Two-player split-screen, Three career lengths up to 10 years, Custom Difficulty settings, a New Contract system, and more Customizable items, F1 2020 will also include two tracks that are new on the calendar. The Vietnamese Hanoi Circuit and the Dutch Circuit Zandvoort. As a fan favorite, the Tracks in F1 2020 will now feature Simplified ERS and a virtual rear-view mirror.
Also, Players will also be able to race a full, half, or three-race Formula 2 season with the feeder single-seater championship fully integrated into career mode.
The digital download PC versions of F1 2020 are available for pre-order via Steam. The F1 2020 Seventy Edition can be purchased for 54,99€, while the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition has a 69,99€ pricetag.
