The Hungaroring is an FIA Grade 1 license racing circuit near Mogyoród, Hungary.
The track holds the distinction of being the first venue for Formula One behind the former ‘Iron Curtain’. The track construction started on 1 October 1985 and was finished about eight months later.
Besides being a Formula One venue, the Hungaroring also hosts a number of international racing series including open wheeler, touring cars and GT championships, making it one of the busiest circuits in Eastern Europe.
