F1 2020 – Silverstone Hotlap – 70Th Anniversary
You know the drill by now. With every Formula 1 race weekend, Codemasters pumps out an F1 2020 video doing a virtual hotlap on the same track as the real event.
After last week’s British Formula 1 Grand Prix we are back for the second race weekend of the double-header GP at the Silverstone circuit. While last week’s race was officially the Gran Prix of Brittain, this week’s race is dubbed the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix 2020., in honor of the first-ever Formula 1 Grand Prix which was held at Silverstone on May 13th, 1950.
So in good fashion, here is the new official F1 2020 Hotlap video.
The previous F1 2020 Silverstone hotlap video showcased the virtual Williams FW43 of British racing driver George Russell. This new hotlap video features the recently redesigned Mercedes W11 as driven by Lewis Hamilton.
The F1 2020 Seventy Edition game by Codemasters is available for the PlayStation4, Xbox One & Xbox One X, Windows PC (DVD and Steam), and Google Stadia.
The digital download PC versions of F1 2020 are available via Steam. The F1 2020 Seventy Edition can be purchased for 54,99€, while the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition has a 69,99€ pricetag.
The Silverstone circuit is a famous racing track situated near Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury in England. Silverstone is the current home of the British Formula One Grand Prix.
The track is 5.891 km (3.660 mi) long and features 18 turns while the National configuration is only 2.638 km (1.639 mi) long and features 6 turns. Besides the Formula One GP, The Blancpain Endurance Series, and various international racing series, Silverstone also hosts many club racing series and the world’s largest historic race meeting, the Silverstone Classic.
