F1 2021 Game & Release Date Officially Announced

Codemasters officially announced the F1 2021 game as the newest edition of the official Formula 1 franchise. F1 2021 will be available on July 16 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

The new game will feature a brand-new story mode where players will be able to progress from Formula 2 to the glamorous world of F1. Also, the game will introduce a two-player online Career mode and feature a Real-Season Start using real-time driver and constructor standings. Furthermore, the Portimao, Imola, and Jeddah circuits as featured in the real world 2021 Formula 1 championship will become available as free post-launch content.

Players who pre-order the Standard Edition receive the Braking Point Content Pack (in-game items inspired by the new story experience’s fictional characters) plus 5,000 PitCoins.

Those ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition receive seven iconic F1 drivers for use in My Team, customization content, 18,000 PitCoins, the Braking Point Content Pack, and three days early access. F1 2021 also supports Xbox Smart Delivery and PlayStation’s free upgrade when players switch to the Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5.

Two-Player Career

We’re also excited to reveal a feature you’ve requested for a long time – the ability to play career with your friends, either co-operatively or competitively. As each player will have complete control over the assists, you’ll be able to enjoy the game whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer to the series.

Real-Season Start

F1^® 2021’s ‘Real-Season Start’ feature lets you jump into this season’s action, reflecting the live standings, and then you can take over and drive the remaining races. Great for players who want to jump into the season to align with the real-world season.

Next-Generation Experience

For the first time, F1^® 2021 is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 with visual uplift and faster loading times, alongside PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
