F1 24 – Update v1.10 – F2 Cars & Drivers – Elimination Mode Returns

The official video game of the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship, F1 24 will start its Season 3 on September 18. Therefore Codemasters and EA Sports will roll out patch v1.10 on September 16 on all platforms, in preparation for the new season.

Season 3 will introduce the 2024 Formula 2 cars and drivers, with new Track Mastery events at Silverstone, Spa, and Losail. Also, the Elimination Mode will make its return for a limited time, offering online knockout races and rewards.

Furthermore, you can expect new unlockable customization items and a fresh look for some teams with a number of design and livery tweaks.

 Last but not least, The F1 cars will be updated to reflect their real-world mechanical and aerodynamic developments.

Part 2 of Season 3 will celebrate one of the greatest to ever do it, the legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna. From October 25, take part in special challenges that touch on several moments in Senna’s illustrious career, including those from Suzuka, Monaco, Silverstone, Hungaroring, Spa, and of course, Interlagos. 

Season 3 Highlights

Bug Fixes/Improvements

AI/CPU Behaviour

  • AI will now manage their ERS deployment more wisely during qualifying, delivering hot lap times more representative of their race pace

Graphics/Visuals

  • Fixed an issue which was preventing the Safety Car from being visible at a far distance from the player
  • Made minor improvements to visible damage on the rear wing
  • Made minor improvements to reflections on the surface of vehicles

F1 World

  • Fixed an issue which could cause F1 World team member mod effects to deactivate before they should
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing a Specialist Goal about completing a number of laps over a race weekend in a Challenge Career from being awarded once the criteria are met

Peripherals

  • Fixed an issue that was limiting torque output on Logitech wheels on the PlayStation

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed an issue in Leagues where the ERS Tutorial could play every time the player left the garage in Practice and Qualifying
  • UDP – Fixed an issue that caused all Session IDs to appear as 0 when Formation Lap was turned on
