Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports V2 available

Fanatec has released the new ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports V2 wheel rim, the official wheel of the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship.

At first sight, the new F1 Esports wheel V2 version looks pretty similar to its original V1 predecessor but features some subtle changes to accommodate the improved LEDs. The front plate now houses RGB FlagLEDs as seen on the Fanatec Formula V2.5 while the RevLEDs are upgraded to RGB units. This enables users to customize the LED colors using the FanaLab software.

Furthermore, the wheel is now fitted with magnetic shifters, built from polymer composite, with metal paddles, resulting in more precise shifts. Revised electronics make it possible to upgrade the wheel with the ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module or Podium Advanced Paddle Module.

The future-proof wheel rim is fitted with a QR1 ClubSport Quick Release Adapter, which can be upgraded to the new upcoming QR2 Quick Release.

Fanatec stated that while manufacturing costs have increased, the price of the Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports V2 wheel rim remains as low as 269.95 €/$ incl. value-added tax + Shipping.

The wheel is already available and ready to ship in Europe, Japan, and Australia. US customers will have to pre-order, with a projected shipping date of March 28, 2022.

(Small note! When adding the product to the shopping basket, it seems to add the Quick Release 99.95 €/$ to the price resulting in a 369.90€/$. However, when you continue to the checkout, the price will be corrected including the Quick Release for 269.95 €/$.)
