Back in June of 2019, German sim racing peripheral manufacturer Fanatec released the updated CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1, which is an updated version of the original CSLWheel Base. The CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 can now be regarded as the entry-level point of the Fanatec ecosystem. The CSL Elite Pedals LC a complete 2-pedal set, extended with the loadcell brake unit providing a third pedal.

The upgraded V1.1 unit takes the original CSL Elite Wheel Base to the same performance level as the PS4 version. That said, the V1.1 is NOT compatible with PS4, but it shares all of the same improvements, i.e. the same motor and motor electronics as the ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5.

Just like the original CSL Elite Wheel Base +, the CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 contains advanced ClubSport technology. You can upgrade the V1.1 wheelbase with an Xbox One-licensed steering wheel to enable full Xbox One compatibility. On PC  the CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 is compatible with all available Fanatec Steering Wheels.

Mounting on cockpits and wheelstands:  3 hard-mount points on the bottom of the wheelbase. Please refer to the drilling template in the download section for the hole pattern and distances. The hole pattern is identical to the ClubSport Wheel Bases without the angle adapter (3 hard-mount holes). Please take note that the CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 hole pattern is NOT compatible to the discontinued CSL Seat.

Platforms:

• Xbox One®​: The compatibility can be upgraded with (optional) steering wheels like the ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2 or the CSL Elite Steering Wheel P1. Without any Xbox One® licensed Steering Wheel attached, the Wheel Base is NOT compatible to Xbox One®.​
• PlayStation®: This product is not compatible with any PlayStation® console and cannot be upgraded to achieve compatibility.

• PC:
  • If you connect it to a Fanatec Wheel Base / Racing Wheel it will be compatible to all racing games. For that case, please check the compatibility details on the product page of the connected product.
  • It will work with any racing wheel, also of​ any other brand (Logitech, Thrustmaster, etc), if the pedals are connected to PC via USB and if the game supports a second controller. ​E.g. these PC games support a second USB controller:
• Consoles: This pedal set can be used on gaming consoles if connected through a Fanatec Wheel Base / Racing Wheel. Please check the information on the product page of the Fanatec product through which they will be connected to the console. It will not work on consoles using the direct USB Connection or a ClubSport USB Adapter.

Peripherals

• Compatible to any Fanatec Wheel Base or Fanatec Racing Wheel with RJ12 Pedals connector. To connect Fanatec Wheels with PS/2 Pedal Socket, you need the additional PS/2 to RJ12 cable.
• With installed Loadcell Kit, the pedals are not compatible with the ClubSport USB Adapter. Please use the included USB connector (PC only).

Special Notes

• The CSL Elite Pedals LC comes as a set of the CSL Elite Pedals with the CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit, delivered as separate products for assembly.
• Slight color variations may occur between CSL Elite Pedals and CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit
• That makes the former brake to clutch and introduces a new, more realistic loadcell brake pedal into the CSL Elite Pedals.​
• Max resolution depending on the connection:
  • through CSW B V1 / CSW B V2 / CS WB V2.5 / CSL E WB / CSL E RW PS4: 12 bit (4096 values) on all axes
