Fanatec Introduced The New CSL Cockpit

Out of the blue, German Sim Racing peripheral manufacturer, Fanatec has introduced a new product in the form of the Fanatec CSL Cockpit. The all-new sim racing chassis is now available in all regions.

With a remarkably compact footprint, the CSL Cockpit is made out of an aluminum and steel construction and is optimized for stiffness and strength. The innovative trapeze design has been tested with high-end load cell pedals and Direct Drive Wheel Bases up to 25 Nm. Making use of the side-mounting Wheel Base brackets the user will not be losing any force feedback detail through chassis flex. The pedal plate is designed to withstand the high forces applied on load cell brakes.

The classic features a GT driving position but can also be converted to a karting position by inverting the Wheel Base brackets. Furthermore, Fanated is offering a selection of optional accessories such as a Seat, Shifter Holder, and Monitor Holder, with more accessories coming soon.

Interestingly, all the components and all the tools needed for assembly come in small packaging, keeping the shipping costs to an absolute minimum.
