Fanatec Steering Wheel Monte Carlo & Podium Button Module Rally Products Offline

Back in November 2021, the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team published pictures showing 9 times World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb testing the Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1, which later on competed in the 2022 World Rally Championship.

Interestingly, the images revealed a Fanatec-branded rally steering wheel. Somewhat later, Fanatec officially announced that they had been working together with M-Sport for some time to develop the steering wheel for the new Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 which debuted in the Rallye Monte Carlo on January 20, 2022. The M-Sport Ford World Rally Team announced that Fanatec became a technical partner for the launch of the Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1, and that the two teams combined knowledge of virtual and real-world motorsport to work on both sim racing products and rally technology.

Today, well in time for the upcoming release hype of EA SPORTS new 2023 official FIA World Rally Championship game, the Fanatec Podium Button Module Rally, and the Podium Steering Wheel Monte Carlo wheel/module bundle became available for pre-order on the official Fanatec Webstore.

However, it did not take long before both products where taken offline. Presumably, the items sold out, or the sale had to be halted. I will keep you posted when more info becomes available.
