Forza Motorsport 5 Nürburgring Nordschleife available for free

Turn 10 released a new free Forza Motorsport 5 add-on circuit for Xbox One. This time the mother of all tracks… The world famous Nurburgring Nordschleife.

At the Microsoft’s E3 2014 press briefing, Turn10 Studios creative director Dan Greenawalt announced that the Nurburgring Nordschleife for Forza Motorsport 5 would be available as a free download. (available now) Three variations of the track are included. You are able to drive the GP circuit, the Nordschleife and a combination of the two as used in the famous 24h of the Nurburgring.

The Nürburgring already appeared in Forza Motorsport 4 on the Xbox 360. For the next gen Forza Motorsport 5 Xbox One version it took 30 artists and 13,000 man hours to build the track from scratch using laser-scan technology. Turn10 calls it the “millimeter accuracy” version of the track. In the included video Dan Greenawalt explains that this true icon of motorsport could not be kept from Forza Motorsport 5.

Forza Motorsport 5 is a racing game developed by the American Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One next Gen console. The game was released on November 22, 2013 as a launch title for the Xbox One.
