Forza Motorsport 6 Apex Review by GamerMuscle

Three days ago, Microsoft has made the Forza Motorsport 6 Apex open beta available on the Windows 10 Store free of charge.

With shortcomings such as no wheel support and no online multiplayer mode, the beta release of the title is not exactly a contender to win a sim racing award, yet many sim racing community members out there were wondering how the famous console racer would stand up against the horde of racing games and simulations we have available on the PC.

To find out how good, or bad Forza Motorsport 6: Apex (open beta) performs on the PC, GamerMuscle fired up the game for an extensive test drive and shared his personal first impressions.

Using Turn 10’s proprietary ForzaTech engine utilizing DirectX 12, players have the chance to race a diverse line-up of 63 beautifully detailed Forzavista cars featuring working headlights, opening doors, intricately modeled cockpit and exteriors, and a full damage model. The release version of Forza Motorsport 6 Apex will contain 20 track configurations across six locations, including night and wet-weather variants.
