The second half of the 2013 ALMS Challenge season has begun! With four races under our belts, July marks the midway point for this epic series designed to pick out the fastest Forza Motorsport 4 players in the world. Starting today, players can tackle a brand new car and track combination, one that combines a little bit of reality in the 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione F458 Italia with a little bit of fiction — as in one of Forza Motorsport’s most enduring fictional tracks: Maple Valley.
Matched only by the legendary heritage of Ferrari, the Risi Competizione team has won two Le Mans championships and achieved 29 podium finishes. Raw speed packed into familiar Ferrari styling makes the F458 Italia a menacing drive, one that’s nicely suited to the high-speed paradise nestled in the rolling hills of Maple Valley.
To get in on the action, look for the Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge event in the “Community Monthly” section of Rivals Mode in Forza Motorsport 4. (Note: You must own the 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione F458 Italia from the November Speed Pack for Forza Motorsport 4 in order to compete in this Rivals event). The top 500 finishers of each event will earn championship points, with the overall season winner winning the official Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge trophy at the end of the season.
