Turn 10 Studios has released Update 17 for Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam.
This newest update focuses on “Daily Racers,” highlighting accessible performance cars, mainly hot hatchbacks.
Nine new cars primarily from Hyundai and Toyota are added including the Hyundai Elantra N, i20 N, i30 N, and Toyota Camry TRD, GR86, and Yaris GR, alongside a new single-player campaign featuring these cars in themed events like “Modern Hot Hatch,” “Luxury & Horsepower,” “RWD Roadsters,” and “Battle of Sedans.”
New multiplayer events will run for four weeks, showcasing different classes of “Daily Racers”, while also New Rivals events are added, featuring the spotlight cars and other vehicles.
Furthermore, new challenges and rewards are available, including two new cars: the Toyota GR86 and the Hyundai Elantra TCR. Also, all cars in the Forza Touring Car Spec Series have been reverted to stock parts and re-tuned based on player feedback.
Car audio has been updated for the Toyota Supra RZ and GR Supra, with bug fixes for the Lamborghini Sian and Porsche 911 GT3, and several bug fixes are included, addressing issues like Quick Resume on Xbox, opponent car audio, and game stability.
Note: The Update 17 Release Notes included mention of new car audio for the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ and 2020 Toyota GR Supra that regrettably did not make it into the game. Turn 10 is aware of this oversight and is working on shipping these improvements as soon as possible.

- An improved Rival select system changes how friends and random players are prioritized as your Next Rival when there are no more friends to beat on the event’s leaderboard or when your next friend’s best lap time is exceedingly faster than yours, while ensuring each new Rival presents a decent challenge.

- Fixed an issue in both Featured Multiplayer and Private Multiplayer during the Grid Preview before each race where the driver character and cars would flicker when players are adjusting Fuel or Tire settings. [1800311]

Featured Multiplayer Car Balancing Changes [All Platforms]
The main Series Spec / BoP changes in Update 17 are focused on the Forza Touring Car Series, alongside the addition of the 2021 Hyundai #98 Bryan Herta Autosport Elantra N.
As part of this re-tuning process, all Forza Touring Cars were reverted to stock parts (except for tire width to normalize) and re-tuned with feedback from Insiders. With that in mind, the percentages seen below are in relation to the stock cars.
