GamerMuscle review ProtoSimTech PT-1 Pedals

Three months ago GamerMuscle received a high-end ProtoSimTech PT-1 pedal set. After some extensive test sessions, and many hours of driving, GamerMuscle is ready to share his personal thoughts on the product.

The ProtoSimTech PT-1 pedal set is aimed at the demanding sim racing enthusiast. Unlike some products in the high-end market, the PT-1 pedals come at a very reasonable price. These pedals are made from solid aluminum, stainless steel, and high-quality hardware. ProtoSimTech wanted to make sure that these pedals lasted a lifetime! They have incorporated industrial grade potentiometers and a very sophisticated circuit board produced by Leo Bodnar. GamerMuscles personal thoughts:

Good:

• Incredible Brake feel
• Makes driving faster easier
• Solid build
• Easy to configure and adjust
• Rock solid and durable in construction
• Stay consistent over time with minimal maintenance
• Incredible Price for people living in the USA

Bad:

• Developed some squeaks after first few weeks( fixed with WD40 and Lithium grease)
• The Clutch can be a bit noisy with the digressive clutch mechanism.
• The Plastic mounting plate could do with a few more holes for mounting to different rigs.
• You have fewer excuses for driving slow.

Each set of pedals includes all the necessary hardware needed to make adjustments to each pedal. An extra hard brake bushing will also be included for those that want a much harder brake feeling.
