In the past, regular TVs were not exactly a real option for serious gaming, simulation, or just about any application requiring a non-ghosting, low latency performance.
Now that time has changed. While there are a good number of TVs on the market that claim they can do the high-end gaming job, only a handful can fulfill its promise.
One of these is the LG C1 4K Smart OLED TV which is available in sizes 48, 55, 65, 77, and even 83 inches.
Admittedly, OLED TVs do not come cheap. However, yours truly is using the 65-inch version as the main house TV, and I can promise you that it does not disappoint. Quality has a price, and in this case, I feel you get more for your money than you would expect.
While Bsimracing is not a TV tech website, we are not going to talk about the usage for regular home use and the huge list of details and features, as you can easily find enough detailed reviews online, done by skilled TV enthusiasts. For more official details, check out www.lg.com.
That brings us to the interesting question. How does this high-end OLED screen perform when used for Sim Racing?
With the LG C OLED being regarded as one of the best gaming TVs in 2021, it’s nice to see our favorite sim racing YouTuber GamerMuscle review the 55-inch version of the screen with sim racing in mind. Actually, three of them, used as a triple screen setup.
