Gran Turismo 7 – February 2025 Update – Three New Cars and Three Race Events

Polyphony Digital released Free Update V1.56 for the PS4/PS5 Gran Turismo 7 title, adding 3 new cars, three new Race Events, and the “Panning” Scape.

Furthermore, Update V1.56 introduces a number of fixes and improvements for various parts of the game.

1. Three new cars, including an iconic work vehicle for truck fans.

BMW Z4 3.0i ’03

2. The MAZDA3 Gr.4 gets a new exterior color.

A new body color will be added for the MAZDA3 Gr.4, available in the Mazda showroom of Brand Central.

3. A new “Extra Menu” will be added to the Café.

[Extra Menu No. 44] Collection: Peugeot (Collector Level 36 and above)

4. Three events join the lineup for World Circuits.

The following events will be added to World Circuits.

Sunday Cup Classic
Red Bull Ring Short Track

European Sunday Cup 400
Grand Valley – South Reverse

Autodrome Lago Maggiore – East

5. More Gran Turismo Sophy-compatible tracks!

The next-generation racing AI agent, Gran Turismo Sophy, will be available on the following courses. Look for the Sophy icon in the Quick Race menu on each track to see where it’s available.

6. “Panning” will be added as a featured Curation in Scapes.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

1. Physics Simulation Model
　- Fixed an issue wherein cars would move erratically during Scapes movies and pit stops;
　- Fixed an issue wherein stopping on a slight slope would cause a car to rotate;
　- Reduced an issue wherein performing a hard brake under certain conditions would cause the rear of a car to lift up significantly.

2. Controllers
　- Fixed an issue wherein the force feedback vibration effect would be different on each side for steering controllers such as the THRUSTMASTER® T300RS;
　- Lowered the output of the THRUSTMASTER® T300RS by 10% to reduce motor strain;
　- Lowered the vibration effect of the THRUSTMASTER® T300RS and Fanatec® GT DD Pro/Extreme.

3. Localisation
　- Fixed various text localisation issues.

4. Others
　- Various other issues have been addressed.
