GRID Autosport Discipline Focus – Tuner

Today Codemasters have posted a new video in the “Discipline Focus” series. In this trailer the focus is “Street Racing” . Prepare to take your supercar to San Francisco, Washington, Chicago, Dubai, Paris and Barcelona. Next to the supercars, Codemasters give us a choice between some classic cars such as the Italien Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo 2 or the German BMW E30 Sport Evo. Some more recent machinery includes the famous McLaren P1 and Pagani Zonda Revolución. Combine those with a selection of hot hatches, Coupes and GT’s and we are sure that there will be a favorite for just about anyone.

Car Handling Designer, Luke Stephenson explains that in the Street racing events, each car will require different skills. In comparison to purpose-built racing cars, street cars are fairly heavy, and have soft suspensions. If you want to win you will have to keep in mind that you are driving dads car on mostly bumpy tracks, or in case of the supercars, you might have trouble getting the horses pinned to the track.

Next to the regular version of GRID Autosport , also a Pre-Order Limited edition is announced. This Limited Black Edition includes access to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Black Series car, as well as 5 Black Edition White Ravenwest liveries, 20 Black Edition Online livery patterns and 10 new Premium sponsors. GRID Autosport Black Edition features the full GRID Autosport game and is expanded with additional content via digital download.

The console edition can be pre-ordered for €55.00, / £44.99, while the PC version comes in at €49.00 / £39.99. ( prices not yet confirmed) Pre-orders for GRID Autosport are already available at various retailers.  Codemasters confirmed that Steam pre-orders will be available within the next two weeks. CodeMasters Autosport Black Edition will launch alongside the standard game on June 27 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
