GT Academy Finalist Darwin Albano Tests Gran Turismo Sport

Let’s face it. The majority of console racing video captures rarely show us the true potential of a console based racing simulation. The usual ram & bang the barrier videos do not help people to appreciate the value of a quality console racer.

Therefore, it is a joy to watch this video captured at the 2016 PlayStation Experience event showcasing the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport title as a true sim racing title. 2012 GT Academy USA finalist, Darwin Albano gets behind the wheel of the virtual BMW M4 Coupe for some fierce racing action at the Nordschleife track.

Gran Turismo Sport will become available early 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

Gran Turismo Sport will be a new iteration of the world-renown racing simulation franchise. The game is currently in development as a VR-compatible racing game and will be the first console racing title to feature online competitions sanctioned by the FIA (Federation International Automobile). The game will feature +-140 premium cars and 19 locations featuring 27 layouts.
