Hybrid Racing Simulations from Queensland, Australia are a passionate team of Sim racers, designing and bringing high-end Sim Racing products to the Australian and world market.
In a recent social media post, they have shared the first official concept renders of the upcoming new HRS SVGT3 Wheel rim.
For those who are wondering what the naming abbreviation stands for… This Sim Racing wheel was designed with the direct help of professional racing driver Shane van Gisbergen. The production will be limited to 100 pieces, which all will come with a personalized authentication certificate signed by Shane van Gisbergen.
The SVGT3 wheel is based on an open-top 315 mm diameter OMP 310 ALU GT Wheel Rim and features a display telemetry LCD display, 10 pushbuttons, two thumb switches, 3 rotary switches, and 2 rotary dial knobs. Furthermore, the pictures also show us a set of carbon fiber paddle shifters. Yet no details on those have been shared.
HRS stated that they are also planning a special SVGTE version, which will be a similar concept but without the inbuilt display.
At the time of writing, no release schedule was revealed, and the product is not yet available for pre-order.
I will keep you posted when more info becomes available.
