IER Modding Group – Porsche 911 GTA update

The International Endurance Racing Modding Group posted a set of screenshots showing us te progress of their Porsche 911 GTA model for Assetto Corsa. The Porsche will be part of the upcoming 2014 IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship (TUSC) mod.

Patrik Marek is working on the smaller details such as new wheel nuts and headlight bulbs. The model also features a new set of headlight washers and a new fuel cap. The overall quality of the model has been enhanced by smoothing out the edges using chamfer/rounded edges. At the moment, Patrik is working on a set of new brake calipers (not yet visible in render).

The Porsche 911 GT America is built exclusively for the GT Daytona class of the IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship. The car is based upon the 991 GT3 Cup currently being raced in the Supercup. However, the car has been modified to cope with the specific needs of endurance racing.
