iRace4life Sim Racing Seminar 2014
This is the final interview session at the 2014 iRace4Life seminar. Your host is Darin Gangi from Inside Sim Racing. In this session Darin talks to Otto Szebeni who is director of sales and marketing at iRacing. Otto explains how he got involved as an iRacing employee and what his job involves.
In the second part of the interview session darin sits down with Landon Harrison. Long time Sim Racing enthusiast Landon competed in the GT Academy and made it to the US National Finals. He explains how he got involved into the competition, and how hard it was to compete with the best Gran Turismo racers out there. Landon also shares some interesting insights about the gear used by sim racers. In part three Darin interviews Brian Schoenberg who competes in the iRacing NASCAR DWC and David Ankeney who is running the RCRL iRacing league.
iRace4Life is a very original charity initiative by iRacing members that are committed to giving to those in need. Each time a Sim Racing team member wins an iRacing race, he will donate money to a charity chosen by the organisation.
