A load cell is a transducer that is used to convert a force into an electrical signal. This makes it perfect for Sim Racing pedals because your muscle memory when putting force on a pedal, is actually better then when you are memorising distance. Then again some people might disagree stating the throw of a real brake pedal is much longer than a loadcell brake. So realtime is not its strongest point.
