Inspired to Drive – The Nicolas Hamilton Story (Project CARS)

Slightly Mad Studios published a Project CARS themed documentary short film featuring the Nicolas Hamilton story.

You know him as the younger half-brother of Formula One star Lewis Hamilton. The last few years, Nicolas has done some real world racing of his own, but the interesting part is that it was his sim racing hobby that motivated him to pursue his dream of becoming a racing driver.

The “Inspired to Drive” short film is a testimony to the perseverance of Nicolas Hamilton who was born with a disability (cerebral palsy) and worked his way from the wheelchair to a racing car seat becoming the first disabled driver to race in the British Touring Car Championship.

Besides being a racing driver, Nicolas Hamilton is also a handling consultant at Slightly Mad Studios working on Project CARS.  In the short film, Nicolas will be talking about how the Game Of The Year Edition of is pushing Project CARS into new realms such as Virtual Reality and Esports.
