Good Game sat down with vehicle audio guru Greg Hill. In this video, Gregg shows us a glimpse of his work and passion.
When you are racing SimBin’s GTR, GT Legends, iRacing, Need for Speed, Test Drive or Project CARS to name a few, chances are that you were enjoying in-game car sounds created by Greg. ( Check out the full list below )
Greg is the owner of Soundwave Concepts. The company specializes in vehicle Sound creation for games, multimedia, presentations, broadcasts and more. In order to create a highly realistic sound, Greg apply’s three important steps: capturing the source, processing, editing, and sculpting the sound and assemble it so its can be used in-game in real-time.
Besides creating sounds for PC systems or consoles, Greg also develops audio for mobile platforms. The Real Racing series for iOS devices is most probably the best-known mobile work of Greg. Greg Hill also ventured into the professional Simulator world as the sound engineer for the official Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team simulator.
