iRacing – 2018 Indycar Preview Video

Next Tuesday, iRacing will deploy a new build of their online racing service. Besides the usual extensive list of fixes and improvements, the March update will also feature an impressive new content list.

After already teasing us with some in-game footage of the upcoming Audi R18 e-tron Quatrro, iRacing now lets us have a first look at the 2018 Indycar model which will replace the older DW12 car.

Open wheeler fans will without a doubt be delighted to see the IR-18 Indycar become part of the iRacing car portfolio as they will be able to use the car for the iRacing Indy 500, currently scheduled for the week prior to the real world Indy 500 on 19/20 May.

But there is more good news. iRacing confirmed that the members who have already purchased the existing DW12 Indy car in the last six months will receive a full credit of $11.95 and that all iRacing members will receive the existing DW12 Indycar as free content.
