iRacing has deployed the 2022 Season 3 build, which featured 3 new cars including Mercedes-AMG’s most successful GT cars, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3, and the Mercedes-AMG GT4.
GT3 and GT4 have become two of the world’s most popular racing categories for drivers and fans alike. The German Mercedes-AMG brand delivers two racing weapons to various GT world series in the form of the AMG Motorsport GT3 and GT4 cars.
The AMG GT3 is powered by a 6.3-liter V8 engine that puts out 404 kW/550 hp and can deliver 650 Nm of Torque. All that power is transferred to the rear axle via a sequential six-speed racing gearbox. This powerplant can propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 3 seconds.
The little brother of the AMG GT3 is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupé production sports car. The AMG GT4 is powered by an AMG 4.0 liter V8 Biturbo engine that delivers 400 kW/544 hp and 630 Nm of Torque. As its bigger GT3 brother the power is transferred to the rear wheels via a sequential six-speed racing gearbox.
