iRacing announced Porsche and Audi LMP1 In Development

We kind of expected it, but not so soon…

Today, iRacing posted a teaser trailer which will make many iRacing members very excited. The video announces the coming of no less than two WEC LMP1 Endurance Prototypes.

The video shows us the silhouette of what looks to be a Porsche 919 Hybrid and an Audi R18 Hybrid LMP1 with the message, that both cars are currently in development for the iRacing online racing service.

Both cars competed in top tear class of the World Endurance Championship (WEC). The works Audi Sport LMP1 team left the series in 2016 while Porsche will seize competition at the end of the current season. This makes both cars more than welcome as the iRacing versions will continue the epic rivalry in the virtual world.

At the time of writing, no further details have been shared. We will keep you posted when more info becomes available.
