iRacing Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 preview video
After showing us a Clay render and fully mapped3D model, iRacing.com has now published a teaser video of the upcoming Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 for the iRacing online racing simulation.
Next to the Chevrolet Corvette C6.R, the AMR DBR9 will be the second GT1 racer featured in the new iRacing GT1 Challenge. The car will become available together with next week’s build. (Tuesday, June 9.)
In the near future, a second Aston Martin will be added to the platform. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will become part of the popular iRacing GT3 Series.
The Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 racer debuted in 2005 and would be actively raced until the last season of the GT1 class in 2011. In 2007 and 2008 the AMR works team took the Le Mans 24 Hours LMGT1 class victory with the Aston Martin DBR9 GT1. The DBR9 GT1 was powered by a natural aspirated all aluminium 6 liter, DOHC, 48 valve V12 engine that delivered 600 bhp.
