Last month, iRacing already released a teaser video, showing the Belle Isle Detroit track with what sounded like a Cadillac V-Series.R LMDh / GTP Hypercar.
Now iRacing posted some in-game screenshots and confirmed that the Cadillac V-Series.R hypercar will become available with next week’s Season 3 build, alongside the Ligier LMP3 and the Willow Springs track.
Co-developed by Cadillac Racing, Cadillac Design, and Dallara, the V-Series.R is designed to the Le Mans Daytona H regulations. The car debuted in the IMSA SportsCar Championship at the season-opening 24 Hours of Daytona and is also contesting the FIA World Endurance Championship from 2023 onwards.
The Cadillac V-Series.R hypercar is powered by Cadillac’s all-new naturally aspirated LMC55R 5.5-Liter DOHC V8 engine paired with the LMDh common hybrid system. The engine delivers up to 670 Hp which can propel the car to a top speed of 346 Kmh / 215 Mph.
