iRacing DIRT Preview – NASCAR World Trucks At Eldora
After iRacing already showed us in-game preview screenshots of the Dirt Late Model, Winged Dirt Sprint Car, and Dirt Street Stock, it is time for a new teaser.
The latest WIP screen shows us the NASCAR World Trucks in action at the Ohio Eldora Speedway which will be the first Dirt track to become available for iRacing. The Williams Grove Speedway will most likely be the second Dirt track released.
The dev team stated that the DIRT track physics, art, and track dynamics systems will all work together in real-time, resulting in a very dynamic and realistic track environment. Just as in the real world, the loose dirt that is thrown up by the tires will develop a groove and accumulate into a dirt wall. This will result in a constantly changing track based on the real-time racing action taking place.
The included screenshot does not yet show us the announced dirt walls, racing grooves, dust or track particles, but it gives us a fair idea how cool iRacing Dirt will look once all the features are implemented.
At this time, iRacing did not yet set an official release date, but we should see the first Dirt content appear in the very near future.
