The iRacing GT Challenge has already proved to be one of the most popular multicar series in the worlds biggest online racing service. Up and till now the RUF track GT and the McLaren MP4-12C where the main competitors in the official GT Series.Yesterday iRacing.com released the BMW Z4 GT3 that will now become part of the official iRacing GT Challenge. These three cars are what you could call the latest generation of iRacing content in the road racing division, all using the latest tire model, and latest sound set. As far as sounds where concerned, the RUF and McLaren rased the bar in both the internal and external sounds department, and is is great to hear the BMW Z4 GT3 has the same level of quality. It also has the coolest pit limiter sound heard in any simulator to date.

While the release of the BMW z4 GT3 is wonderful news for GT fans, there are still a few GT cars that one would expect in an American product. The SRT Viper GT3 and the Corvette C7R would make the perfect playmates for the current pack of GT cars, and would bring iRacing two steps closer to a Tudor United Sportscar Championship or Pirelli World Challenge grid. Fingers crossed.
