iRacing – Knoxville Raceway Available Tomorrow

iRacing.com officially announced that the Knoxville Raceway Dirt oval will be available to purchase on December 5th.

Knoxville Raceway is a semi-banked 1/2 mile dirt oval raceway located at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Iowa, United States. Knoxville Raceway was originally a track used for horse racing and held its first automobile race in 1901, and the first weekly races were held at the Knoxville Raceway in 1954.

Currently, the weekly events include the Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cups Series for sprint cars. Special shows include the Knoxville Nationals. Widely considered the premier sprint car event of the year, the four-day Knoxville Nationals features a million dollar purse and attracts nearly 100 of the world’s top sprint car competitors and more than 21,000 fans to Iowa every August.
