Accompanied by a work-in-progress render, iRacing has announced that the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will be coming to the online racing service this September.
The iRacing McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will join the already impressive GT3 line-up including the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, the Ford Mustang GT3, Ferrari 296 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO, BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche 992 GT3 R.
Introduced in 2023, the 720S GT3 Evo is the follow-up to the successful 2019 McLaren 720S GT3 and is built to race in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the GTD Pro class of the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
Compared to its predecessor, the 720S GT3 Evo features improved aerodynamics and a wider rear wing, increasing downforce, and an updated suspension system, providing better grip and stability at high speeds. The car is powered by an M840T 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that can generate between 550 and 600bhp.
