iRacing McLaren-Honda MP4-30 release date & new in-game Video

iRacing announced that the McLaren-Honda MP4-30 will be coming to the online racing service on December 8th. 

The development team states that the iRacing McLaren-Honda MP4-30 will be the most accurate virtual model of the car ever made. The virtual version will simulate a fully functional ERS (Energy Recovery System) and DRS (Drag Reduction System).

The McLaren-Honda MP4-30 will be the second modern Formula One car available in the service following the Williams FW31 that has been featured in the online simulator since 2010.

To warm us up for this awesome release, iRacing shared some fresh in-game video footage showing off both the graphics and sounds of the modern Formula one car.

The real world McLaren MP4-30 is a Formula One racing car designed by Tim Goss and Neil Oatley to compete in the  2015 Formula One season. The MP4-30 is driven by Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button. The car is powered by the Honda RA615H 1.6 L V6 turbocharged Hybrid engine.
