Tomorrow, iRacing will deploy the 2022 Season 3 build. As expected, the new update will bring a healthy list of new content to the online racing service.
Alongside the Sandown Raceway, the Port Royal Dirt Track, and the Fuji International Speedway, one of the new vehicles that will be part of the 2022 Season 3 release is the Radical SR10.
With a high horsepower, long-life powertrain, the new Radical SR10 is everything you’d expect from a turbocharged Radical. Targeted at track-day enthusiasts, motorsport country club members, and racers across the globe, the SR10 delivers more power and torque than has ever before featured in Radical’s SR line-up, with a new engine and drivetrain package optimized for both performance and durability.
The Radical SR10 is powered by an RPE-Ford Ecoboost 2261cc, custom Garrett turbocharged engine with direct injection, twin-independent variable cam timing, and drive-by-wire throttle. The engine delivers 425bhp / 380ft-Ib.
The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Six-speed Hewland sequential transaxle gearbox, operated by a Radical developed paddle-activated gearshift system with auto-blipper.
