The long-awaited Rain feature for iRacing will become available this month. The new dynamic rain system will massively enhance the racing experience in an endurance setting.
iRacing has been working on its dynamic rain system (code name Tempest) for several years and is just about ready to be released with the upcoming 2024 Season 2 build.
The development team has now published a new preview video, sharing some ingame footage of the sim in the wet. While we still do not know how the physics will be, the looks do get a big thumbs up.
