With the 2021 Season 4 build deployment just around the corner, and hot on the heels of the Porsche 911 GT3 R release back in June, iRacing is preparing to deploy yet another racing model of the famous german sportscar brand.
Alongside the already existing 2017 Porsche Cup 991 GT3, iRacing will now welcome the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (model 992) to the online racing service. If all goes as planned, the new 992 should be available on September 4.
For now, enjoy an in-game ride onboard the all-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car doing a lap around the German Hockenheimring circuit.

Our lineup of Porsche vehicles has always proven quite popular across special events, public series, and hosted races, and we expect the updated 911 GT3 Cup car to be similarly well-received among iRacers around the world.
From the start of the 2021 season, this racer has campaigned in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup as well as the national Porsche Carrera Cups in Germany, France, Asia, and Benelux and for the first time in North America.
The spectacularly styled Cup car is the first racing version based on the current 992 generation and the first makes-cup racer of the sports car manufacturer to feature a wide turbo-spec body.
Producing around 375 kW (510 hp), it exceeds the output of its immediate predecessor by 25 horsepower. Moreover, the new GT3 Cup can run on synthetic fuels, which significantly lowers CO2 emissions under racing conditions.
