ISR – Logitech G920 Driving Force Review (on the Xbox One)
Darin Gangi and co-host John Sabol from Inside Sim Racing present their review of the Logitech G920 Driving Force wheel and pedal set for the Xbox One.
Recently Logitech announced the new G29 and G920 Driving Force wheels. The G920 is the first Logitech wheel specifically aimed at the Xbox market. Darin and John take us on a detailed tour while reviewing the product and perform a test drive using the most popular Xbox One racing titles.
To see how the wheel holds up against the current competition, Darin and John are planning to perform a dual test comparing the Logitech G920 with the Thrustmaster TX Racing wheel.
The Logitech G920 features a dual-motor force feedback system featuring an anti-backlash helical gearing system. The unit comes with a stainless steel pedal set including throttle, brake and clutch. The wheel rim is fitted with a set of paddle gear shifters. The hand-stitched leather wheel rim and clamp system are the same as used on the older Logitech products. Because the G920 is aimed at the Xbox One market, the wheel is fitted with the standard A-B-X-Y X and Xbox home buttons.
The Logitech G920 Driving Force wheel will retail for €399 when it becomes available on October 15. The Logitech G920 will be shipped without a manual gear shifter. Logitech is providing an optional six-speed “Driving Force Shifter” for €59,99.
