Jeddah Corniche Circuit Coming To Rennsport

Competition Company officially announced that the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Jeddah Corniche Street Circuit will be added to the Rennsport simulator track portfolio.

At the time of writing, no official release date was shared.

Named the ‘fastest street track’ on the Formula One calendar, the Jeddah Corniche track is a Street circuit designed by Carsten Tilke, and built in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

With its 6.174 km (3.836 mi) length, the circuit is also the second-longest track on the 2021 calendar, with only Spa-Francorchamps being longer. The circuit is renowned for its high-speed nature, with long straights and quick, sweeping corners.

As a street circuit, there are limited run-off areas, increasing the risk of accidents, and while there are some overtaking opportunities, the circuit’s layout can make it difficult to pass.

This year, the street circuit hosted round 2 of the 2024 Formula One season as the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The GT World Challenge will be visiting the Jeddah Corniche track from the 28th to the 30th of November for the 6 Hours of Jeddah.
