Kevin Shepherd – The Oculus Rift & rFactor 2

Last year we followed up with British comedian, writer, director, videographer and huge fan of motorsport Kevin Shepherd.  In his “Old Dog, New Tricks” video series, Kevin documented his quest for a racing simulator that would suit his needs. In Season 1 things did not go as planned as it soon became apparent that the otherwise brilliant iRacing platform he was using then was not the ideal weapon of choice.

Now Kevin continues with season 2 of his Old Dog New Tricks video series desperately trying to find out if he has what it takes to become a racing driver. The British Equinox Sim Center in the Swale district of Kent offered to help out. They allowed Kevin to use their Oculus Rift VR set and rFactor 2 simulator to further improve his racing abilities and give him some straightforward answers.
