KTM X-BOW GT4 Coming To RaceRoom
Sector3 Studios announced that the KTM X-Bow GT4 will become part of the RaceRoom Racing Experience car portfolio. Next to the X-Bow RR, the GT4 will be the second sports car model of the renowned Austrian motorcycle and car manufacturer to appear in RaceRoom Racing Simulator.
The KTM X-BOW GT4 for RaceRoom is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2017. For now, we can admire the included in-game WIP screenshots.
The last few years, GT4 can be regarded as one of the fastest growing racing series. Every year the various GT4 championships around the world become more popular and because of the lower running costs, customer racing teams are lining up to campaign the GT4 cars.
The closed cockpit X-Bow GT4 is based on the company’s wildly successful, lightweight roadster. The car is developed by KTM and Reiter Engineering who are famous for building several Lamborghini-based race cars as well as a GT3-spec Chevy Camaro. The X-bow GT4 competes in various international racing series and GT4 Championships worldwide.
To date, the KTM X-Bow GT4 has presented itself as a very successful racing car. The X-Bow GT4 became a champion in the USA (Pirelli World Challenge GTS), Champion in Asia (Thailand Super Series) and debuted in Australia at this year’s Bathurst 12 Hour. The car is amongst the front runners in the worldwide Creventic series and in Europe 8 GT4’s are represented by the Reiter Young Stars youth development program.
The lightweight and very aerodynamic KTM GT4 is powered by a turbocharged Audi 2.0-liter four cylinder engine fitted with a seven-speed sequential gearbox. The engine delivers as much as 360bhp. When you combine all that power with its incredibly light weight, the X-Bow GT4 becomes a truly competitive racing car.
