iRacing officially announced that a new LMP3 car will be added to its online racing platform in the form of the the Ligier JS P320 prototype endurance racer.
The development team shared a clay-render of the model and confirmed that the car is scheduled to be released alongside the 2023 iRacing Season 3 build in June.
Launched in 2020, the Ligier JS P320 is based on the Ligier JS P3 featuring 95% new bodywork, new Ohlins shock absorbers, a new Nissan V8 VK56 engine, a more powerful, adapted cooling system, and optimized aerodynamics.
The JS P320 successfully competed in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, Ultimate Cup Series, Asian Le Mans Series, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar, and the IMSA Prototype Challenge. The Ligier JS P320 was victorious two years in a row at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.
