Live for Speed BMW Sauber F1 ride using the Oculus Rift (GamerMuscle)
GamerMuscle continues his Oculus Rift DK2 tests using the Live for Speed driving simulator. This time he takes the LFS BMW Sauber F1 car out on the South City track. As in the previous tests, GamerMuscle is still so impressed with the DK2 experience that he calls the Oculus Rift the future of simulation and gaming.
Those of you who have been Sim Racing for a few years will undoubtably be familiar with Live for Speed, or LFS in short. This realistic racing simulator is developed by a small developers team. Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey, and Victor van Vlaardingen released their first commercial version of LFS on June 24, 2005.
Oculus Rift is a new virtual reality (VR) headset designed specifically for video games that will change the way you think about gaming forever. With an incredibly wide field of view, high resolution display, and ultra-low latency head tracking, the Rift provides a truly immersive experience that allows you to step inside your favorite game and explore new worlds like never before.
