Mixed Reality VR by Marcel Pfister – Project Cars Caterham R500

After Marcel Pfister pumped out some really popular iRacing and Assetto Corsa based Mixed Reality VR video’s, he now shifted platform and fired up his Oculus Rift CV1 for some Project CARS fun.

In his latest Virtual Reality production, Marcel takes the Project CARS Caterham R500 out for a few laps on the British Oulton Park circuit.

Marcel’s recording technique is only a visual representation of the lap, and Marcel does not see his own hands or steering wheel during the actual run. Nevertheless, it gives us a good idea how amazing sim racing will become once Augmented Reality becomes a fact.
