Monza for iRacing – preview by Inside Sim Racing
After former co-host Shaun Cole shared some preview footage of the upcoming Monza track for iRacing, now its Darin Gangi’s turn to reveal some Beta footage of the iRacing version of the famous Italian circuit.
As a beta tester, Darin had access to 5 of the 8 announced track configurations. In this video, we can watch some cockpit and camera action at the GP, GP without chicane, Oval going clockwise, full combined course and Junior layout in both classic and current race machinery.
Next to the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, the iRacing development team is also working on a laser scanned version of the ” Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari” or better known as the Imola track. There is no release date announced for either track, but it is rumored that the Monza circuit is most likely going to be released in the next few weeks.
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is one of the world’s most famous racing circuits located near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. The venue’s history goes back to 1922. The current 5.793 km track is best known as the host of the Italian Formula One Grand Prix.
