More Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume 3 Previews

It’s only two more days before Kunos Simulazioni will release the third part of the Assetto Corsa Porsche pack series. The Porsche Pack Volume 3 DLC will include another seven models of the prestigious German sportscar brand.

To wet our appetite for the upcoming release, the Kunos teasing squad has released a new batch of impressive screenshots showing us the Porsche Pack Volume 3 models in all their glory. As with the two previous packs, Volume 3 contains a very cool collection of Porsche models for both the fans of classic and modern machinery.

The Volume 3 DLC content will be slightly different than first communicated. Earlier this week Kunos Simulazioni announced that the long-awaited 2017 Porsche 911 RSR model will not make it to the Porsche Pack Volume 3 DLC and will be replaced by the equally interesting Porsche 911 Turbo S model. The 2017 Porsche 911 RSR is likely to become available during January of 2017.

Both the WEC and American IMSA Weathertech Championship 2017 RSR’s are still in development and are currently undergoing their balance of performance treatment. The real-world 2017 Porsche 911 RSR has the task to bring the Porsche brand back on the GT podium and will make its competition debut at the Daytona 24-hour race in January 2017. (Whether this is the real reason for the delay of the virtual model release is purely speculation on our side.)

The PC version of the Porsche Pack V3 DLC for Assetto Corsa will become available next Tuesday (20 December). You can pre-order the pack at the dedicated Steam page for 6,99€. Keep in mind that the owners of an Assetto Corsa Porsche Season Pass can download the cars without an additional cost.
