During the 2024 Sim Racing Expo, the Chinese Moza Racing brand introduced its new officially licensed Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 Sim Racing Steering Wheel.
The new premium wheel rim replicates the steering wheel of the track-only Automobili Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 hypercar, of which only 40 were built.
The core of the rim is made out of a CNC-machined aluminum alloy frame resulting in a lightweight, yet strong and rigid base. The grips of the wheel are wrapped in suede leather ensuring a premium feel and comfortable grip.
The center of the wheel houses a built-in 4.3-inch touchscreen to display real-time telemetry data and a selection of official Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse Ul options. To power the display, the wheel is equipped with a quad-core processor running at 1.3GHz. ensuring smooth and responsive visuals.
Above the screen, we find eight central RevLEDs offer clear shift indicators, while two customizable RGB flag indicator LEDs on each side signal flags or vehicle status, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
All electronics are controlled using the MOZA Pit House software that lets you test wheel functionality and fine-tune settings. You can customize the RPM LED color, brightness, and timing, and fully configure your dash display.
Furthermore, the wheel features an ergonomic layout with 72 programmable inputs using CNC anodized aluminum knob caps. The control panel includes eight round buttons, four thumb knobs, and four 12-position rotary knobs.
The rear of the wheel features two aluminum alloy paddle shifters that replicate the material and structure of real Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse race cars.
The rim is fitted to a wheelbase via a CNC aluminum alloy quick-release mechanism that is compatible with all MOZA bases currently on sale and can also be used with third-party bases via the MOZA hub kit.
