Moza Racing - Porsche Mission R Steering Wheel

As you might already know, the Chinese Moza Racing brand is present at the Gamescom 2024 trade fair in Cologne Germany from August 21th to 25th.

Alongside a full lineup of Moza racing and Fllight Sim gear, the real star of the Moza Racing booth (Hall 10.1, Booth C-039) is the new Moza Racing Porsche Mission R steering wheel.

As the name implies, Moza developed the wheel in collaboration with Porsche, as a sim racing replica of the wheel in the real-world electric Porsche Mission R racer. Its design is based on the original CAD data of the wheel.

The wheel frame is made out of CNC-milled aluminum and fitted with suede-like grips. The first thing that stands out is its very good-looking 60Hz 5.4-inch 300R curved 720p OLED screen with a High-strength tempered glass overlay.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core CPU, the screen can smoothly display a selection of telemetry data which is customizable via the Dash Display UI Editing System software. It offers over 10 preset designs and allows for extensive custom editing, enabling users to craft their own unique dashboard interfaces. In the future, users will be able to share their creations or explore and import top UI designs from other users via the MOZA Sharing Platform.

On the controller side of things, the new Moza wheel features 6 front push-buttons, 2 rear buttons, 2 rotary encoders, 2 thumbwheels all customizable via the trusted Moza PitHouse software.

The rear houses a set of CNC aluminum alloy Shift Paddles with Dual Clutch. The non-contact hall sensors are offering 0.03mm precision for stable and precise control. Equipped with pre-installed silencer pads, they ensure a smooth and noise-free shifting experience. The clutch paddles effortlessly switch between single and dual clutch modes.

Furthermore, the wheel makes use of MOZA’s custom quick-release system, compatible with all MOZA bases.

The Porsche Mission R Steering Wheel is designed to integrate seamlessly with any sim racing ecosystem, the steering wheel can be connected directly to a PC through MOZA’s universal hub kit. This ensures maximum flexibility and ease of use for all sim racers.

Moza Racing did not yet reveal an official release date or pricing. I will keep you posted when more info becomes available.
